b)AUTO FILTER
CLEANING
THE MAIN
FUNCTION OF DRAWFRAMES ARE TO :
1)TO DOUBLE THE SLIVERS FOR
UNIFORMITY
2)TO BLEND THE MATERIAL
3)TO DRAFT THE MATERIAL
4)TO PARALLEL THE FIBERES
FROM HOOKS
5)TO LEVEL THE SLIVERS
EITHER FROM CARD
OR THE COMBER
CONCEPT OF
AUTOLEVELLER DRAW FRAMES :
DRAW FRAMES
ARE CONTRIBUTING NOT MORE THAN 5% OF THE YARN MANUFACTURING COST BUT THIS IS
THE FIRST M/C IN THE PROCESS
WHICH WILL BE
HAVING A POSITIVE CONTROL OF YARN.
WITH THE OLD
SYSTEMS OF DRAWFRAMES WHERE NO AUTOLEVELLERS ARE PROVIDED THE YARN QUALITY WITH
RESPECT TO CV% OF LESS THAN 1.2 CAN BE ACHIVED BUT THE RESULTS ARE NOT
CONSISTENT.
TO HAVE A
CONSISTENCY IN THE YARN RESULTS THE AUTOLEVERLLER DRAW FRAMES HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED
WHERE NO GEAR SYSTEMS ARE AVAILABLE TO ALTER THE YARN RESULTS.
SO,USTER CAME
OUT WITH FIRST CAPACITANCE PRINCIPLE OF LEVELLING.AS IT HAD SOME DRAW BACKS T
& G SYSTEM CAME INTO EXISTANCE WHICH GOT SUCCEDED.
RIETER ADOPTS
THE OPEN LOOP SYSTEM OF AUTOLEVELLING IN THE RSB D-30 DRAW FRAMES.
OPEN LOOP
SYSTEM : IN OPEN LOOP SYSTEM THE FEED MATERIAL IS
PASSED BETWEEN THE T & G
ROLLERS THE
DEVIATION IN MASS IS
MEASURED BY THE
DEFLECTIONS OF T & G
THEN TRANSFORMED
TO ALTER THE DELIVERY SPEED
TO CORRECT
THE MASS VARIATIONS.
THE ACTUAL
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ORDINARY DRAW FRAMES AND THE AUTOLEVELLER DRAW FRAMES IS
THAT THE DELIVER ROLLER DRIVE IS SEPERATED FROM THE ACTUAL DRIVE SO THAT WITH
THE ABOVE SAID “OPEN LOOP” SYSTEM IS ACTUATED TO ALTER THE DELIVERY ROLLER
SPEED TO CORRECT THE MASS VARIATIONS.
RSB D-30 AUTOLEVELLING :
THE AUTO
LEVELLER RSB D-30 DRAW FRAME IS EQUIPPED WITH AN ELECTRONIC LEVELLING SYSTEM.
ALL SLIVERS
FED TO THE M/C PASS THROUGH A PAIR OF SCANNING ROLLERS.ONE OF THE TWO ROLLERS
IS MOVABLE ACCORDING TO THE VARIATION IN SLIVER CROSS SECTION.
THESE
MOVEMENTS ARE YTRANSFORMED INTO VOLTAGES BY A SIGNAL CONVERTER AND FORWARDED TO
AN ELECTRONIC LEVELLING PROCESSOR D90.
THE LEVELLING
PROCESSOR D90 CALICULATES THE CORRECT TARGET VALUES FOR THE SERVO DRIVE USING :
-
ELECTRICAL
SIGNAL VALUES,ARRIVED BY THE SLIVERS FED
-
AND
DELIVERY SPEED OF THE M/C.
THE SERVO
DRIVE RUNS THE PLANETARY GEARING WITH THE TARGET SPEED.
IN D-30 THE
DELIVERY SPEED REMAINS CONSTANT.THE 2nd ROLLER
DRIVE WILL
GET SPLIT FROM THE FRONT ROLL UPTO CREEL DRIVE
TO CORRECT THE MASS VARATIONS.
THE SECOND
ROLL SPEED IS INCREASED OR DECREASED BY DIFFERENTAIL GEAR BOX THRU A DC SERVO MOTOR
TO ADJUST THE VALUES OF MASS VARIATIONS.
IN D-30 THE
MAIN ZONE DRAFT IS ALTERED TO CORRECT THE REQUIRED CORRECTION.THE CORRECTION
POINT IS KEPT TOO CLOSE TO THE TOP ROLLER LOADING POINT SO THAT THE SMALLEST
FIBER IS ALSO UNDER CONTROL.
SO,WITH D-30S
PRINCIPLE OF AUTOLEVELLING SLIVER MASS IS MEASURED AT IN FEED AND CORRECTED
WITHIN THE DRAFTING ZONE WITHOUT ALTERING THE DELIVERY ROLL SPEED TO CONTROL
THE VARIATION LESS THAN 2.5%.
MACHINE DATA :
SLIVER CREEL :
THE CREEL
CONSISTS OF 6 OR 8 CANS :
-DIAMETER UP TO 1000 MM (APPROX
40”)
-HEIGHT UP TO 1300 MM (APPROX
50”)
THE CREEL IS
EQUIPED WITH MONITERS.
D-30 CREELS
ARE WITH BOTH POWER CREEL WITH POSITIVELY DRIVED FEED ROLLERS AND AS WELL AS
PULL OVER CREEL WITH LIGHT BARRIERS.
DRAFTING SYSTEM :
THE DRAFTING SYSTEM IS 4 OVER 3 EQUIPPED WITH PRESSURE BAR.
DRAFTING SYSTEM IS SUITABLE FOR DRAFTS RANGING FROM 4.48 TO 11.69 WITH NOILS TO SYNTHETIC AND COTTON FIBRES UPTO 80 MM.
THE INTEGRATED SUCTION SYSTEM ENSURES THE DRAFTING ZONE
FREE FROM
DUST.
THE DRAFTING
ROLLS (BOTTOM) ARE MADE FROM HARDNED STEEL CHROMIUM PLATED AND EQUIPED WITH
SPECIAL FLUTES DESIGNED FOR - LOW NOISE

MIDDLE
ROLL 30 MM 170 MM
FRONT
ROLL 40 MM 190 MM
TOP ROLLERS :
THE MAXIMUN DIAMETER OF THE TOP ROLLERS IS 38 MM AND CAN BE BUFFED UPTO 36 MM.
TOP ROLLER
PRESSURES ARE NOT TO BE CHANGED AFTER BUFFING SCHEDULES.
THE TOP
ROLLER PRESSURES ARE TO BE MAINTAINES AS FOLLOWS :
-
320 N
ON 1,2,3 ROLLERS
-
200 N
ON DEFLECTION ROLLER
THE TOP
ROLLER ASSEMBLY IS ALSO EQUIPPED WITH LAPPING STOP MOTION.
A SETTING OF
0.5 TO 1 MM IS MAINTAINED BETWEEN THE CONTACT RAIL OF STOP MOTION AND THE
CONTACT BOLTS.
COMPRESSED AIR REQUIREMENT :
IN RSB 851 NO
COMPRESSED AIR IS REQUIRED FOR ANY OPERATION. WHERE AS IN RSB D-30 6 TO 7
KG/CM^2 OF COMPRESSED AIR AT VOLUME OF 5 NL IS REQUIRED WITH AVERAGE
CONSUMPTION OF 100 NL (NORMAL LITRES) PER HOUR.
THE FOLLOWING
FUNCTIONS IN RSB D-30 REQUIRES THE COMPRESSED AIR :
a)THREADING
UP (0.5 SEC BLOWING)
b)FUNNEL
CLEANING ( 1.5 SEC BLOWING)
c)SLIVER
CUTTING (ONLY IN SYNTHETIC PROCESS)
d)PNEUMATIC
DRAFTING(OPTIONAL)
e)TOP ROLLERS
LOADING
f)FILTER
CLEANING WITH SCRAPPER
g)PNEUMATIC
PRESSURE ON SCANNING ROLLERS.
h)CUT-OFF
VALVE CENTRAL SUCTION SYSTEM.
SUCTION ARRANGEMENT :
D-30 IS
PROVIDED WITH INTEGRATED SUCTION SYSTEM TO KEEP THE DRAFTING SYSTEM AND OTHER
IMPORTANT AREAS AWAY FROM FLUFF ACCUMULATION.
THE SUCTION
AIR IS CLEANED BY PASSING THROUGH A FILTER SCREEN AND IS RETURNED INTO DUCT OF
CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM.
EXHAUST AIR
VOLUME : 600 TO 700 CFM
SUCTION UNDER
PRESSURE : 12 TO 15 Mbar
SLIVER GUIDES ABD SLIVER GUIDE BARS :
SLIVER GUIDES AND SLIVER GUIDE BARS ARE PROVIDED BEFOR THE
DRAFTING SYSTEM TO ENSURE THE SLIVER PATH TO THE DRAFTING SYSTEM WITH OUT
SLIVER DISTRUBANCE FROM THE SCANNING ROLLERS TO THE DRAFTING SYSTEM.
THESE GUIDES
AND BARS ENSURES THE SLIVERS ENTER INTO THE DRAFTING SYSTEM : IN THE CENTER
UNIFORMLY NEXT TO EACH OTHER
WITHOUT GAPS BETWEEN SLIVERS
NO SLIVER CROSSINGS
SLIVERS WITHOUT BEING TWISTED
BREAK DRAFT AND MAIN DRAFT :
BREAK DRAFT
IN RSB D-30 IS VV AND MAIN DRAFT IS
KNOWN AS HV
AND TOTAL
DRAFT IS V
V = TOTAL DRAFT
VV = BREAK
DRAFT
HV = MAIN
DRAFT
V = VV X HV
HV = V/VV
ANY CHANGES
IN THE MAIN DRAFT i.e HV REQUIRES THE CORRESPONDING CORRECTION OF BREAK DRAFT
i.e VV.HOWEVER A CHANGE IN VV REQUIRES NO CORRECTION OF HV.
CLOSEST ROLL SETTING FOR SHORT FIBRES :
-BREAK DRAFT
ROLL SETTING =36 MM
-MAIN DRAFT
ROLL SETTING =35.5 MM WITH DRAFTING
PRESSURE OF 320 N
WIDEST ROLL SETTING :
-MAXIMUM
DRAFT SETTING IS APPROXIMATELY 133 MM i.e BREAK DRAFT AND MAIN DRAFT NOT MOR
THAN 133 MM.
ANY
COMBINATION OF BREAK DRAFT AND MAIN DRAFT ROLL SETTINGS IS POSSIBLE AS LONG AS
THE TOTAL DOES NOT EXCFEED 133 MM.
SO MAXIMUN
MAIN DRAFT IS 63 MM
MAXIMUM BREAK DRAFT IS 70 MM
TOP ROLLER RECCOMENDATION :
THE TOP
ROLLERS SHOULD BE USED WITH OUT SPIRAL GROOVES THE BEST SELECTION OF TOP
ROLLERS FOR GOOD TECHNOLOGICAL RESULTS ARE :
-
DAY
WWW 121 (TYPE)
-
COLOUR
= BLACK
-
SHORE
HARDNESS = 78
THE TOP
ROLLERS SHOULD ALWAYS RUN WITH THE CLEANER BARS IN CASE OF COTTON MEDIUM COUNTS
TO INCREASE THE LIFE TIME OF THE TOP ROLLER COTS BY REDUCING THE LAPPING AND
ALSO TO MAINTAIN THE TEMPERATURE IN THE DRAFTING SYSTEM.
SCANNING ROLLERS :
RECOMMENDED SCANNING ROLLERS SIZE FOR COMBED COTTONS ARE :
-
6.5 MM
WIDTH SCANNING ROLLER WITH THE FUNNEL NUMBER
OF 6.5
-
SCRAPPER
HEIGHT OF 6.0 MM
-
CLEANER
PLATE HEIGHT OF 6.0 MM
THE SCANNING
ROLLER PRESSURE IS TO MAINTAINED AT 120 KGS FOR COMBED COTTON COUNTS.
THE
REPLACEMENT OF SCANNING ROLLERS OR THE CHANGE IN PRESSURE ON THE SCANNING
ROLLERS REQUIRES :
-
A
CHECK OF THE MECHANICAL,BASIC SETTING OF CALENDER
DISCS AND,
-
IF
REQUIRED,THE CALIBRATOION OF CALENDER DISCS.
LEVELLING CALIBRATION AND SETTINGS :
LEVELLING PRINCIPLE
:
THE AUTOLEVELLER DRAW FRAME RSB D-30 IS EQUIPPED WITH AN
ELECTRONIC AUTOLEVELLING SYSTEM.ALL SLIVERS FED TO THE M/C PASS THROUGH
SCANNING ROLLERS.
AS SAID,ONE OF THE TWO SCANNING ROLLERS IS MOVEABLE.THE
VARIATIONS IN THE SLIVER MASS OF THE INCOMING SLIVERS DISPLACE THE SCANNING
ROLLER ACCORDINGLY.
THESE MOVEMENTS ARE TRANSFORMED INTO VOLTAGES BY A SIGNAL
CONVERTOR AND FORWADED TO AN ELECTRONIC LEVELLING PROCESSOR D90.
THE LEVELLING PROCESSOR D90 HAS THE TASK TO FURNISH THE
CORRECT TARGET VALUE TO THE SERVO DRIVE –SERVO DRIVE MOTOR M90 AND SERVO
LEVELLER G90(SERVO AMPLIFIER) :-
-ELECTRONIC SIGNAL VALUES,ARRIVED AT BY THE SLIVERS
FED,AND
-DELIVERY SPEED OF THE M/C.
SERVO DRIVE
TAKES THE INFORMATION AND CONVERTS IT INTO THE CORRECT RPM FOR THE PLANETARY
GEARING(DIFFERNTIAL).
THE PLANETARY
GEARING WITH ITS CONTROLLED OUTPUT SPEED DRIVES THE MIDDLE AND BACK ROLL-SLIVER
ENTRY OF THE DRAFTING SYSTEM.
THEREBY THE
REQUIRED DRAFT CHANGE IN THE MAIN DRAFTING ZONE IS ACCOMPLISHED AND THE
VARIATIONS IN THE MASS ARE LEVELED OUT.
THE SPEED OF
THE DELIVERY ROLL REMAINS CONSTAN- DIRECTLY DEPENDING UPON (CONSTANT)GEAR RATIO
OF THE DELIVERY SPEED-WHICH ENSURES EXACT AND CALCULABLE PRODUCTION RATES.

SCANNING ROLLERS IN THIS POSITION THEN APPLY PRESSURE TO THE SCANNING ROLLERS
BY PUSHING THE BUTTON S16.
THEN START
THE M/C AND ENTER INTO THE CALIBRATION MENU AND PRESS YES IN THE MENU NO.72.2.ALL THIS CALIBRATION IS
CARRIED OUT AT –25% ERROR.
BOTH THE
TARGETED VOLTAGE AND THE EXISTING VOLTAGES ARE DISPLAYED.TO MATCH THE TARGET
VOLTAGE AND THE EXISTING VOLTAGE ADJUST THE POTENTIOMETER IN “TACHO” LOCATED IN
SERVO LEVELLER G90 TO MATCH BOTH THE VALUES.
THEN GIVE
“YES” TO CALIBRATE THE SERVO DRIVE AT +25%.THEN START THE SAME PROCEDURE AS
ABOVE.
IN ADJUSTING
SERVO DRIVE AT BOTH +25% AND –25% THE DEVIATIONS TO THE TARGET VOLTAGE AND THE
ACTUAL VOLTAGES THE TOLERANCE CAN BE + OR – 1 TO 3 VOLTS.
SERVO DRIVE
CALIBRATION IS PERFORMED IN THE KEY POSITION IN THE OPERATING INTERFACE PANNEL
IN THE “SERVICE” MODE.AFTER CALIBRATING
TURN THE KEY TO “RUN” MODE.
b)BASIC SETTING FOR DISTANCE MEASURING
:
RIETER
