SIEGER YARN CONDITIONING PLANT SETTINGS

YARN CONDITIONING PLANT
(SIEGER)
Machine description :

Sieger yarn conditioning plant (YCP) - micro processor controlled, automatic machine exclusively meant for processing different types of yarn and to achieve quality results. The basic unit is fabricated with AISI 304 stainless steel. Auto door operation with hydraulic system, FRP insulation and prime quality inputs. The plant is made extremely reliable by using a superior materials. The process is sensed by high resolution sensors and governed by PLC system. The valves, pumps and other supporting elements are sourced from competent manufacturers. This implies trouble free performance of the plant and accurate reproduction of the process.

The machine is supported by mechanical systems such as:
y        Automatic door operation with in built Hydraulic unit.
y        Vacuum pump and supporting accessories.
y        Control valves for process fluid control and safety.
y        Water inlet pump and accessories.
y        Mechanized bridge flap loading and unloading.
y        Complete side rails for safety.
y        Graphical or mimic indication of process and machine lamp.

Technical specifications…
1.     Overall dimension of the machine -Diameter of shell             2000mm.
                                                                                           - length  - 2200mm
  - height  - 5100mm
  - width   - 3000mm
2.Approximate weight of YCP is            - 6 metric tons.
3.capacity                                                        - 800-1000 kgs/batch cones.
                                                                                      600 kgs/batch cops.
4.Production per day                           - 15 metric tonns in cone form.
                                                                                      (20 batches - based on
         material and temperature.)

5.compressed air                                                          - 6 kg/sq. cm. Or 6 bar.
6.process condition pressure                             - 0 to -1 bar absolute.
7.Water requirement                                        - app 100 liters per batch.
8.Temperature and                                                       - 1100c.
9.Relative Humidity                                                      - 0 - 100 %.
10.water                                                                       - soft water.
11.types of material to be processed
y        cotton knitted.
y        cotton warp.
y        c/v blends.
y        p/c blends.

The main purpose of conditioning is
At the time of purchasing cotton, the moisture of the cotton will be some what in the range of 8.5 . (8.5% is the standard moisture regain % at atmospheric conditions.).
As in preparatory and spinning section the relative humidity is maintained at 50 - 60 %, the material gets dried up. The more the standard moisture regain of the material, more will be the invisible loss.
The RH of winding room is maintained at 65%. So, some moisture is regained but as the yarn are in packed condition the regain is slow and un uniform. In some mills, the yarn cones are kept at conditioning room for 24hrs before packing to neutralise the loss of moisture.
So, moisture content is an important factor tpo be considered. More than quality this has significant role in commercial aspect. A mill supplying yarn with less moisture than standard will have higher invisible loss. The moisture content of yarns should be measured regularly and based on the findings actions should be taken.
SIEGER YCP serves this purpose drastically with higher production.

  1. Dear Sir,
Here's a little idea of how to set parameters to Total and another idea of how Total works.
Power failure causes the program to run out, which is a big problem for production. Please know how to fix the problem. How to bypass program in case of power failure.
If the problems were solved quickly, there would be great benefits in production.
