LH 10 LAPFORMER TIPS

LAP FORMER LH10
POINTS TO BE TAKEN CARE

A.    In lap former, the piecing of the broken sliver at creel has to be brought up to the console table and inserted in the adjacent sliver to avoid any jamming taking place at calendar roller area and to avoid the loose sliver sucked by the suction points.

B.     Once in four hours, drafting top roller, pneumafil box has to be cleaned.

C.     Once in eight hours, top cover has to be removed and calendar roller zone to be cleaned.

D.    Main calendar roller stripper to be cleaned every shift, shift jobber should be provided with the machine door key to assist the machine tender for the stripper cleaning.

E.     Instruction has been given in Tamil/Hindi for workers to take manual doff in case of power fail.

F.     Reserve trolley should be connected to the previous trolley in the last doff only.  The completed trolley should be removed immediately after the trolley is filled with laps. That is only one trolley will be always in contact with the machine. This will avoid break down at trolley indexing area.

G.     During placing the trolley in the lap former the spool has to be checked and ensured whether the spool is placed properly. This will avoid the doff sequence struck up.

H.    Regarding maintenance, Oil lubricator to be checked periodically once in 15 days.  If oil is less should be filled with servo system 32, While filling main in coming air to be closed, machine air  shut of valve to be shut off and the air in the regulator to be released, Then only the oil pot to be removed and filled with oil otherwise oil pot will break.

CONTINUATION SHEETS

A.    Once in 3 days all the calendar rollers to be cleaned with petrol by rotating the calendar roller, striper of the calendar roller also to be removed.  Cleaned and fixed again properly this will avoid and calendar roller jam problem and subsequent break down.

B.     Doff test to be carried out completely for two times for all the steps in the doff test and if necessary adjustment to be made to flow control valves. This has to be carried in every general cleaning schedule. This should be performed by mills comber fitter only.

C.     The main calendar roller earthing plate gap to be ensured 2mm in every cleaning by maintenance fitter.

D.    All Chain alignments to be checked every general cleaning.

E.     For further clarification please refer Instruction manual.

F.     The entire Lap former breaker LDO/6 draw frame should be fed by the randomized card cans. The delivery cans of the LDO/6 draw frames should be number and should be feed as mentioned below.

G.    The creel feed cans to be arranged in randomized, which are RHS & LHS sides of the draw frame should be placed as mention below.

WINDING SAFETY
DISABLE / DISABLED. THIS WILL BE CHANGED FROM DISABLE TO DISABLED DURING FRESH MATERIAL PUTTING IN THE MACHINE AND NO MATERIAL IN THE SPOOL, ie, AFTER CLEANING.













MACHINE PARAMETERS
FEEDING THE GEAR PARTICULARS LIKE A,B,C & D AND CUTTING MOTOR TIME FEED OF THE NEW LAP DURING LAP CHANGE IN COMBER.







CONFIGURE

Reports

Current shift and last 6 shift detail will be recorded, cumulative run time and indle time can also be noticed. Alarm histry can be viewed for type of stopage and the time of stopage.







Doff test.

Details of the steps given in text sheet, to perform doff test the lap doff mode has to be changed from auto to manual.







Service.










Date & Time Change
This will go to the initializing menu which requires 3rd level password. All the shift previous shift datas will be erased if we perform. We can change the shift time and date.








Password change.
Requires 3rd level password, can change all 3 levels of password.








MASTER reset.
This will be performed in extreme condition,if there is no other means.It will bring back all pneumatic cylinders back tohome position, but all the datas will be erased we have reenter all the data including process,machine parameter and date & time.







Trouble Shooting.

This will be helpful for electrical technecians to find out the fault in the electrovalve, sensors and push buttons
