LK 54  COMBER
POINTS TO BE TAKEN CARE


A.    Running-in, the comber should be start with 250NPM, First oil change is done at 24 hours of running and the speed has to be increased to 300 NPM. After 300 working Hrs the speed has to be increased to 350 NPM. The second oil change to be done at 500 working hours and the speed can be increased to 375 NPM. In every oil change, all the fastener to be checked for tightness.

B.     The machine attendees have to clean the following areas with the given internals with fly gun or brush. 
1.   DRAFTING AREA               -                                              4 HOURS
2.  COILER AREA                     -                                       4 HOURS
3.  TOP COMB cleaning (after every new lap is fed) -         2 HOURS
4.  MACHINE BACK & FRONT & NIPPER ASSLY
      (REMOVE THE COVER AND CLEAN)                    -      8 HOURS
5. DETATCHING AREA BELOW THE CURVED PLATE -    24   HOURS

C.     Care should be taken while fixing the web guide in between bottom detaching roller otherwise it will damage the detaching roller.

D.    -400 Pascal should be maintained above/below the machine in noil duct. In case of continuous suction system, - 100 Pascal has to be maintained at the exhaust air trench below the suction box. This will help the comber Cleanliness.

E.     An electrical inter link should be provided with the waste collection system and comber machine whenever the compactor is stopped the machine will be stopped and also a bulb indication at the hall will help the tender to know the waste collection system is stopped/running.

F.     The coiler calendar roller gap should be maintained at 0.2mm and the pressure may vary from 2 to 3 bars. This gap should be checked once in a month in general cleaning.

A.    In general cleaning the detaching bottom roller striper spring action to ensured and corrected by cleaning the fluff accumulated.

B.     Don’t clean the table bottom area while machine is running. Clean the machine while the machine is stopped.

C.     Use Liters to measure the oil to be poured in the head stock, this will avoid the excess oil being poured and resulting in the spilling of the same in the floor.

D.    Table stop motion to be checked in every 15 days, this has to be checked at the 3rd & 4th heads and 5th &6th heads particularly. If necessary it has to be corrected by aligning the table stop motion photo sensors.

E.     Brush height gauge has to checked and corrected once in 2 months.
